Dear WFITN Friends and Colleagues,
As the tumultuous year of 2025 draws to a close, with its many societal challenges around the globe, it becomes ever more clear to me that what truly provides a foundation for stability, a North Star, a deep source of meaning – are the treasured people in one’s life: friends, family, close colleagues. It is on exactly this kind of basis that WFITN has always rested: growing our collective neurointerventional wisdom for the benefit of our patients through honest inquiry and scientific debate, building community across the globe, and spanning cultures, with friendship and collegiality as the bricks and mortar out of which WFITN is constructed.
It is a deep privilege for me to be in the position of helping to steer our community forward. Though the waters may be choppy at times, as we approach the holiday season and the end of 2025, I am doubly cognizant of this very special privilege.
Let me take this opportunity to wish all of you and your families very Happy Holidays and a wonderful 2026 for all of us.
