Travel grant for 2022 WFITN congress in Kyoto
Dear WFITN Member, dear Friends,
The WFITN Endowment Fund hereby announces 25 travel grants for the 2022 WFITN congress in Kyoto. Each grant amounts to 1 500 Euro.
The aim of these grants is to facilitate for physicians members coming from less prosperous areas of the world to participate in the Kyoto WFITN Congress.

WFITN Course in Functional Neurovascular Anatomy Endorsed by SNIS and SVIN
The Functional Neurovascular Anatomy course is a comprehensive and didactic review of the embryology and vascular anatomy of the spine, brain, and head and neck. The course comprises lectures, 3D anatomic sessions as well as interactive workshops on angiographic images. It has been created for neuroradiologists, radiologists, neurologists and neurosurgeons with particular interest in neurovascular diseases.
NEW: Mentorship Program for Women in Neurointervention “mentorship for women by women”
We are currently seeking mentors for the program
If you identify as a woman, are working as a neurointerventionalist at Staff/Attending/Consultant level for a minimum of five years and are interested in mentoring women who are considering entering our profession or in early career then please consider joining our program.
Elections for Executive Committee & Host 2026
The 16th congress of the WFITN will be held in Kyoto from August, 21st - 25th, 2022. During the General Assembly of the WFITN at this meeting we will vote for a new Executive Committee and for the country to host the 2026 congress.

President Letter - August 2021
We are pleased to announce that the new Editor-in-Chief of our official Journal Interventional Neuroradiology will be Waleed Brinjikji. Waleed will officially take over from Masaki Komiyama who has done a fantastic job for the past 3 years.
