Interventional Neuroradiology Symposium 2019

Date:
26th to 28th September 2019

Dear colleagues,

Herewith we would like to cordially invite you to our 20th Annual Interventional Neuroradiology Symposium in Toronto in September 2019.

Given the significant success from last year with more than 250 participants from 21 countries, we will again have in addition to our 2-day symposium a one day Case-based Interactive Workshop on Neurovascular Anatomy entitled “Why Neurovascular Anatomy is important” on Thursday Sept 26th with limited number of participants to ensure a truly interactive environment.

Similar to last year we have obtained endorsement from WFITN, SNIS and SVIN and special rates are available for members of these societies. We believe the Symposium and its associated workshop will be of interest to a broad audience of Neurosurgeons, Neurologists, Neuroradiologists, and Interventionalists. CME accreditation is applied for – last year participants were able to obtain up to 28.25h of CME type I credits!

While the neurovascular Anatomy Workshop will consist of short lectures and mainly case-based discussions with the audience facilitated by the faculty and will be limited in the number of participants, the Symposium will focus this year on current Debates in Stroke, controversial aspects of Aneurysm treatments and the Venoglymphatic System. We will again focus on conceptual insights as well as practical issues and will highlight some of the controversially discussed topics using a “Debate”-Format. Please find the full program here.

The 5th Karel Terbrugge Lectureship will be awarded on Saturday. This year’s recipient will be Dr. HongQi Zhang from Beijing, China who will speak about Spinal Vascular Malformations.

We have invited “coast-to-coast” presentation from neurovascular centers across Canada and the US as well as international guest speakers from Japan, France, China and the Netherlands. Please find the distinguished confirmed faculty here.

We are looking forward to welcoming you to Toronto
