Time has come to remind you to pay your 2012 membership fee to the WFITN.

It has been decided to maintain the memberhship fee of 155 Euros for 2012.

Your membership is important because it reinforces the strength of the WFITN, enlarges the debates between all of us, and opens potential new fields of discussions and projects. Thus, the WFITN needs your active support.

Unfortunately, too many of you have omitted to pay their fees in the past, which is certainly unintentional and related to communication problems due to lacking of precise administrative data (addresses, Emails etc.) that you may have modified without letting the administrative secretariat know. Please do not forget to indicate your name on the bank transfer and the year of the membership fee you are paying for.

For those who have not paid yet last years´ membership fees, it is possible to pay for the missing years online.

• the election of the new Executive Committee of the WFITN
• the city that will organize the WFITN meeting in 2015.

During the General Assembly, specific ballots will be distributed that will allow the vote.

Concerning the 2015 Meeting
Each candidate will present his project during 5 minutes. The vote will take place after the last presentation, and the poll will be declared during the General Assembly.

Concerning the Executive Committee candidates:
As you see, there are single candidates for the positions of Vice President, Secretary General and Treasurer. You will be asked to approve them in order to allow them to occupy these positions.
You will have to vote for the renewal of the 3 members at large.

Information about the candidates for hosting the WFITN congress in 2015 and the candidates for the Executive Committee are available in the members area after you have logged in.

The next WFITN congress will be held in Capetown. The 11th Congress takes place from November 8-11, 2011.

Please notify that you can only benefit from the price reduction of 450 Euros in comparison to 600 Euros normal price if you are a member in good standing, meaning that the fees for the past years and the current year 2011 are paid until the end of March.

At the 11th WFITN congress, the General Assembly and the Executive Board will hold a meeting and decide on membership applications. There will be also a booth of Mrs. Heckmann, WFITN Secretary, who will inform you about WFITN, WFITN membership, membership status and forthcoming meetings. It is also possible to pay the membership fee cash of by credit card at the booth. Comprehensive congress information can be found here.

The past ABC Win Meeting held in Val d´Isère from January 16th to 21st, 2011 at the Centre Henri Oreiller in Val d´Isère, France, was a success. 400 members attended the meeting, and 54 new members have been approved, so that WFITN has now about 700 members.
